신성한 고야산 지역에 위치한 Yochi-in은 유서 깊은 사찰이자 숙박 시설입니다. 산몬게이트(sanmon gate)에 들어가면 바로 왼쪽에 유명한 미레이 시게모리(Mirei Shigemori)가 만든 돌 정원이 있으며 일본 정부에서 지정한 천연 기념물이 자리하고 있습니다. 사전 예약 시 추가 비용으로 명상, 경전 필사, 부처 그리기 같은 사찰 활동을 경험할 수 있습니다. 새벽 예불에는 예약 없이 참가할 수 있습니다.
