One of the original & oldest NYC hostels, we opened our doors in 1993.
We love our neighbourhood which boasts a variety of bars, restaurants and shops while being a quick walk or subway ride away from all major attractions from the High Line to Central Park.
Large outdoor shared courtyard. Dining area with television.
We have a fully equipped kitchen facility for all guests too.

Chelsea is a prime location in the heart of Manhattan, sitting between Midtown and West Village.
Because the Chelsea International Hostel is served by several subway lines (A, C, E, F, 1, 2, 3), you are just a few minutes away from anywhere in the city.
The neighbourhood of Chelsea is a cultured-filled area, with numerous art galleries, stores, restaurants and the Gansevoort Market and Gotham Comedy Club.
Madison Square Garden -15 min walk.
LaGuardia Airport, 16 km
Empire State Building - 2km.
Good to know
As the largest independent New York hostel, Chelsea International is maintained 24 hours a day by highly motivated staff. The front desk team is comprised of real locals familiar with all 5 boroughs of New York City.
There is no curfew, but common areas are closed from 8 PM to 8 AM, including kitchen, courtyard & the lounge.

In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
You must have a valid passport or government-issued identification to check-in. Photocopies will not be accepted. NYS IDs are not accepted.
You must be at least 18 to stay in our Hostel.
You will need to bring your own padlock to use the lockers.
The maximum stay in our hostel is 14 nights in any given 30 days.

매우 쾌적한 호스텔, 이상적인 위치, 환영합니다!!
큰 여행 가방을 가지고 있거나 최대 1층에 있는 방을 요청하지 마세요 ;-). 그 외에는 불평할 것이 없습니다. 숙박은 매우 좋았으며 호스텔은 맨해튼에 이상적으로 위치해 있습니다. 숙면을 위해 귀마개를 준비하세요 ^^
아주 잘 배치됨
호스텔은 조금 오래되었지만 깨끗하고 기능적입니다. 수면용이라면 딱이네요. 변기 수세식 변기가 고장났고 평균보다 더 많이 찾은 대출금을 갚아야 했기 때문에 예상보다 더 많은 돈을 냈습니다.
침대는 편안하지만 호스텔 전체가 불편하고 기능적이지 않습니다. 특히 주방이 그렇습니다. Wi-Fi는 반 시간 동안 작동합니다. 그리고 욕실이 항상 매우 깨끗하고 비실용적이지는 않습니다.
