Hostel near the beach and shops. Great staff so I recommend this hostel in Pattaya

Jomtien Hostel is a great place to stay if you want to spend time in Pattaya but don't want to be in the middle of the madness of the Walking Street and the main centre. It's a lovely hostel and is so clean and safe. We had a 4 bed room with A/C and the shower was really good. Room is really well equipped with TV, fridge and microwave. The staff were so so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. There's a kitchen with really good facilities as well and there's a multi-purpose fitness machine that does the job if you want to exercise. Getting around Pattaya from Jomtien is also really easy with the trucks and you can get to the centre for 10baht. The restaurant that is recommended by the hostel 'Ecology Jomtien' is also amazing and is so cheap. Can't recommend this place enough - we were only meant to stay 1 week and ended up there for 3.

the hostel is very close to the beach, the staff is friendly and helpful (but not very talkative), the free water is great, our room (triple) was nice and clean

Great rooms, helpful staff, is away from the centre of town which we preferred as was much quieter and less touristy.

It was clean, has a lift and balcony. The manager is a nice guy The rooms are lovely with big double bed, TV, air con, furniture and a very nice bathroom. I would recommend a stay here especially if you want a short trip out to stay clear of the Pattaya madness.

It’s exceptional. We know the manager and this is the 6th time we have stayed here in last 4 years. They are just too good people. An excellent quite place but very close to all the necessities and the beach is awesome. I highly recommend this place.

The property was clean, down a quiet, safe street, just minutes away from the beach.

I have stayed in many hotels not only in Thailand but around the world..but jomtien hostel was absolutely the best value for money accommodation ive experienced for a long time..the guys there will go out of there way to help u...location is fantastic. price is great...have already told all my mates to go and stay there for there upcoming holidays. ...excellent jib guys ..see u in 10 months.... mike henry...

The guys who run this place are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean Beds were comfortable! AC Short walk to the beach Balcony

Very quite, far from all the noise go go bars but close to restaurants, decent bars, local shops and just 3 minutes walk to the beach, the manager very nice Thai guy and the owner from France such a cool gentleman guy, able to help you at any moment; specially when is annoying guesses from Spain and England reach at the dormitories at 4am really they don't have any consideration to the others when everybody is sleeping, the owner kick them at early morning, good job boss!!!

One of the best hostel I've ever stayed! Friendly and helpful owner John, nice location in the more quiet part of Ptt - Jomtien, rooftop terraсe and, exactly, excellent value for money. I stayed here during Xmas, despite of that I was alone in 6-bed dorm with private bathroom and balcony (were u can smoke) feeling like a quieen))) Jonh run a party on th Xmas eve and it was so nice!

Good size room, value for money, easy reach to the beach.

The cheaappest l could find in Pattaya free WiFi and good bed and public transport only two hundred mmeters away

its clean, safe, and located right on Jomtein Beach, easily accessible to walking street, 2nd road, rented a vehicle as well which was too good in condition and accurate, no bluffing.

i had liked every thing other than the thai staff hear.they dont have friendly attitudes other than the french owner mr jhon.he is a fine friendly person with lots of talents....he will speak any language.

It was really nice...Pattaya is known for its sleeze balls, and because Jomtien beach is a little way away your not in the middle of all the go go bars! The beach is nicer and its less sleezy...but if you want to experience all that you just hop on a bus thing and its like 10bht to get there 24 hours a day!! What more could you want!!!!?
